We start our tour by visiting Holy Trinity Cathedral that is one of the tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in the World. Continue tour to Metekhi plateau - where Vakhtang Gorgasali built his palace, and the site’s first church, when he announced  Tbilisi his capital in the 5th century. Later go up to Citadel Narikala (4th cent.) by cable car. Narikala is located on a steep hill, dominating the old skyline.  Afterwards have a short walk in old town and visit small waterfall in the heart of the city. Visit Abanotubani (Bath quarter). Sulphur baths have been an essential part of Tbilisi life for centuries, the brick-domed underground baths were built in the 17th century, it is Georgian’s and not only Georgian’s beloved place since today. Continue trip and visit Anchiskhati basilica (6-18th cc.) - Oldest church in Tbilisi. Visit Sioni Cathedral (7-19th cc.) which is considered as one of the most sacred places in the country since it houses the holy cross of St. Nino, the young woman who converted Georgia to Christianity in the early 4th century.

Continue Trip to explore Mtskheta (1000 BC, UNESCO) - ancient capital of Georgia, located 20 km from Tbilisi. Visit JvariMonastery (6th c. UNESCO), built on a hill opposite Mtskheta, at the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Carry on the tour and visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th cent. UNESCO) - currently the second largest church building in Georgia, after the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

At the end of the tour drive back to Tbilisi
