Two Days Trekking Tour to Khevsureti

You are about to discover historic highland village Shatili located on the northern slope of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, one of the best place for trekking and hiking in Georgia. You can explore medieval-to-early modern fortresses, fortified dwellings, pristine nature and free spirit  only in two days.

Day 1

Tbilisi – Ananuri Architectural Complex (17th c.) – Datvijvari Pass (2676m) – Lebaiskari tower – Kistani – Shatili Fortress.

Early in the morning, you will drive to the north from Tbilisi and have a stop at Ananuri architectural Complex overlooking Zhinvali water reservoir.On the way can be done whitewater rafting on a river Aragvi.  Driving up to the Caucasus slope and crossing Datvisjvari pass at an elevation of 2676 meters above sea level. Stop at lebaiskari tower and time for quick lunch ,  our team member will provide you with lunch boxes. After lunch continue road to Shatili.
After accommodation have a sightseeing around Shatili.

Day 2

Shatili – Anatori – Village Mutso –  Tbilisi

Early in the morning driving to Mutso village, trek to towers up to the hill. Discover  almost completely abandoned village more than a century ago, which is a home to approximately 30 medieval fortified dwelling units arranged on vertical terraces. Difficult to access, the village retains original architecture, and is a popular destination for tourists and mountain trekkers. Continue way up to abandoned village Ardoti, driving back to Tbilisi.

Note: Road trip 5-6 hours from Tbilisi to Shatili one way, mostly off road.
