At 09:00 AM drive directly to Kakheti via Gombori Pass. Visit Qvevri master’s house and see where and how clay vessels are made. You will meet Qvevri maker’s family and Qvevri master will lead you to explore ancient technology. Afterwards visit Gremi fortress (16th cent.). The picturesque brick citadel overlooking Alazani Valley and snow-covered Caucasus Mountains. Later on visit unique 7.7 km long Khareba tunnel ,was curved into the massive rock of the Caucasus Mountains and is used as a natural wine storage and degustation hall for visitors. Continue way to visit Kakhetian family where you will get true Georgian experience of Georgian feast (Supra). You will taste famous Georgian dishes and family wine accompanying with Georgian toastmaster (Tamada). If you are a family and travel with your kids, here is something interesting for you! Your children can experience natural juice tasting at family winery. They can pick fruit and vegetable themselves from family garden and participate in juice making as well. Later drive directly to Chateau Schuchmann-  an ultra-premium winery specializing in famous indigenous Georgian grape varieties.
